Our Cybersecurity Specialist co-op program introduces you to a rapidly growing profession within the IT industry. From global organizations to small companies to everyday internet users, there is an increased concern about cyber attacks, identity theft and account hacking. Our program provides you with the skills required to protect your clients against the personal and professional consequences of security breaches. Our program concludes with a 240-hour work placement that allows you to put your newfound skills into practice. Graduate in just 12 months!

What key skills will I acquire?

  • Assess risks to improve organizational security and fix flaws in computer systems and networks
  • Use penetration testing to run simulated attacks on a computer system
  • Learn Wireshark, Python programming language, SQL and Hyper-V
  • Perform lab experiments using mobile simulators and emulators
  • Respond to security alerts
  • Detect and fix flaws in computer systems and networks

What future career paths can I consider?
Future opportunities include information security analyst, systems security analyst, IT analyst, security consultant, security administrator and more.

Scholarship

We offer the Tech Grant to provide tuition support and make Canadian education more attainable to our domestic students. Up to $500 (CAD) grants will automatically be applied to new students, applying for 2024 intakes at Toronto campus.
